Adapters

Most of the rooms have a Swiss-, European- (Schuko) and USB socket. If you require an adapter, please contact reception.

Breakfast

The breakfast buffet on the ground floor is available from 7:00 to 10:00 hrs.

Check-in

Check-in can be done between 15:00 to 22:00 hrs.

Check-out

To ensure that the rooms are cleaned for the next guests, all rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
It is possible to store your luggage in our luggage room. But, we suggest you to use one of the lockres at the railway-station Interlaken West or Ost (safe and not expensive).

Children

There is a toy box with various games in the lounge on the ground floor.

We accept most internationally recognised debit and credit cards.

Entrance door

The entrance door is locked between 11:00 to 06:30 hrs during the night. It can be opened at any time with your room key or room card.

Fire alarm

Our hotel is equipped with one of the most modern fire alarm systems offering full protection. In the event of a fire, please use the escape routes and emergency exits marked with green illuminated signs on each floor of the hotel. In the event of heavy smoke, hold a wet cloth over your face and move along the floor. Please remain calm and do not use the lift under any circumstances. Please refer to the emergency exit plan on your room door.

Assembly point: large gravel area (car park) opposite the hotel.

Guest card (Interlaken Pass)

All guests receive a guest card for the Interlaken holiday region. This entitles you to free travel by bus within Interlaken (and on some trains within Interlaken) as well as some discounts for excursions or sightseeing.

Guest kitchen

There is a self-catering kitchen on the ground floor, which is open daily from 7:00 to 23:00 hrs.

Hayduki

Hayduki is our house speciality and is served in our restaurant. Hayduki Original consists of two pork steaks stuffed with steaked beef, French fries, various salads, herb butter and our spicy Hayduki sauce. We also serve other dishes (with meat or vegetarian).

Hotel bar

We do have a hotel bar with local beer and international known drinks. Open mostly in the evening from 15:00 to 23:00 hrs.

Internet

We offer free internet access for all guests. To use this service, you must register with your name, email address and telephone number.

Lounge                      

There is a small lounge (salon) to relax with a television next to the breakfast room on the ground floor.

Luggage

On most dates, your luggage can be stored in our luggage room after departure. There are also large lockers available at both the East and West railway station (approx. CHF 3-6 per use).

Mountain bikes

Mountain bikes can be hired at reception as follows:

Half day: (9:00 to 15:00 hrs or 15:00 to 21:00 hrs)   CHF 18 per bike
Full day: CHF 28 per bike

Restaurant

Our restaurant is open from 17:30 hrs. We can take orders for dinner until 20:45 hrs in the evening.

Tuesday to Saturday from 17:30 hrs.

Reception

Our reception is open from 7:00 to 23:00 hrs.

Room safe

All hotel rooms with bath/shower have a safe.

Seminar room

We do have two seminary rooms for groups. Just contact us if you would like to use them.

Toiletries

Toothbrushes and toothpaste can be purchased from the vending machine on the ground floor.
For other toiletries, please contact reception.

The entire Waldhotel and all our hotel rooms are non-smoking. You are welcome to smoke on the terrace on the ground floor or in the area in front of the entrance door.

Taxi

The reception desk will order a taxi for you upon request.

Television

All of our hotel rooms with bath/shower are equipped with a television.
Two additional televisions are located in the lounge on the ground floor and in the communal kitchen.

Terrace

There is a public terrace on the ground floor and on the first floor with a beautiful view of the mountains.

Umbrellas

You can obtain an umbrella from reception for a deposit of CHF 10.

Washing machine/tumble dryer

You can wash and dry your clothes in our guest kitchen. The machines can be used for CHF 5 per wash.
